The Impact of Database Modeling to Coupa and its customers:

We are seeking an experienced Database Modeler to join our team, leveraging modern data warehousing architecture on Snowflake, DBT, Tableau, and core SQL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, with at least 4 years of experience working with the modern data stack. The role requires proficiency in Python and/or Ruby, and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams based in the USA. As a leader in best practices, the candidate will guide other developers, ensuring efficient and scalable solutions. This is an offshore position.

What you will do:

• Create and manage data marts and star schemas to support business intelligence initiatives
• Collaborate with US-based teams to gather and understand business requirements
• Develop, optimize, and maintain data models using DBT, Snowflake, and SQL
• Lead and mentor junior developers, promoting best practices in data modeling and ETL processes
• Utilize Tableau for data visualization and reporting
