Director, Business Strategy

The Director of Business Strategy works closely with senior leaders to lead the development of recommendations and initiatives that will drive major strategic decisions and growth for Global Housing, ensuring alignment with overall strategic direction and profitability of the Enterprise. This is a remote role.

What will my duties and responsibilities be in this job?

• Acts as an advisor and partner to key business executives and cross-functional leaders, providing ongoing support on business issues and opportunities aligned with profitable growth opportunities.
• Leads or assists in projects to determine strategic direction for Assurant and Global Connected Living
• Leads growth strategy projects for Assurant; leveraging market, client, and consumer needs, assessing capability strengths and gaps, and developing business cases to justify and prioritize areas for growth.
• Assists in the identification and evaluation of M&A targets and broader Build/Partner/Buy strategy.
• Opportunistically supports critical client discussions.
• Supports senior leaders in developing clear communication of the strategy and future, for use in internal and external discussions.
