Security Engineer - Data Loss Prevention

Join Verisk's Global Enterprise Information Security Team and become a part of the newly established Center of Excellence in Poland. As a Security Engineer, you will have an exceptional chance to advance your skills in security automation through the utilization of Artificial Intelligence. Your role will be crucial in fostering cybersecurity resilience, safeguarding our systems against evolving threats with robust protection measures.

Main responsibilities:

• Design and implement new technologies and solutions to enhance DLP and Cloud access security broker (CASB) capabilities to meet business requirements.
• Develop, implement and review policies, workflows and technical configuration for DLP and CASB while coordinating closely with IT, business units and other stakeholders.
• Assist infrastructure team with daily operations, maintenance, upgrades and monitoring of the DLP platform.
• Respond to and resolve DLP incidents efficiently.
• Provide expertise and assistance to IT projects concerning DLP, CASB and overall security.
• Participate in project-related activities as an information security subject matter expert extending beyond DLP.

This role is based in the beautiful city of Krakow and offers the flexibility of a hybrid work model that allows you to blend home comfort with office collaboration (at least 2 days per week).

Requirements

• Over 5+ years of professional experience in the cyber security field of Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
• Desired experience in one or more of the following: information protection and encryption, database security, database activity monitoring.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Cyber Security.
• One or more professional certifications in Information Security is highly desirable, ie CCSP, CISSP, CISM, SANS certifications (GCLD, GWEB, GCSA, etc) or product-specific certifications related to data protection.
• Good problem-solving, organizational and project management skills.
• Be able to independently assess and prioritize resolution of outstanding tasks and requests.
