As we continue to scale an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join our dynamic and rapidly expanding finance team! In this role, you'll immerse yourself in a high-energy environment, engaging in diverse projects focused on process improvement and transformation as our company scales.
Located in our Sydney HQ, you'll gain invaluable experience and play a key role in supporting strategic decisions that drive significant business growth. This position offers substantial exposure and the chance to make a meaningful impact on our company's success.
How will you spend your time
- Managing all financial accounting from income statement and balance sheet accounts and related processes such as revenue, OPEX, fixed assets, prepayments and intercompany transfers;
- Processing month-end journals and assisting with month-end close;
- Preparing reporting for month-end and collaborate across various client groups.
- Working with external auditors and tax advisors;
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement, standardisation and/or automation;
- Business partnering with various teams across the Group;
- Ad-hoc involvement in wider finance team projects.
What do I need?
- CA/CPA qualified Accountant
- Attention to detail with an ability to multitask and prioritise tasks
- Advanced Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc) skills
- Proactive and enthusiastic attitude with a focus on making things better
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Netsuite, Tableau and Avalara (desirable not essential)
