Finance Accounting Lead

Seeking 2 Finance Accounting Leads, on a 12-month fixed term contract. You will report directly to the Commercial Finance Manager- Retail. You will embody exceptional leadership capabilities and play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy and performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation of Microsoft D365 ERP system, with a focus on process updates
• To assist managing financial accounting activities (including month end close activities)
• To manage compliance with Balance Sheet reconciliations policy
• To provide on the job training and coaching to offshore Accenture team, as key point of contact for escalation of issues
• Assist in Fixed Asset & Inventory management with the ability to pro-actively investigate issues as they arise
• Supplier rebate management, including reviewing invoicing and assisting with queries as they arise
• Finance experience in a retail environment desirable but not essential
• Experience collaborating and coordinating with a broad range of stakeholders across a business
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement

Requirements

• You will be CA/CPA qualified coupled with at least 5 years’ experience in a financial accounting role or similar.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
• Ability to use systems in a commercial environment, e.g. Excel, databases, Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Deep knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
