Role Details

As our Account Executive at Maptionnaire, your primary focus will be acquiring new customers within the U.S. market.

Your typical day as our Account Executive will start with reviewing tasks and prioritizing outreach efforts. You will conduct targeted outreach using Apollo, focusing on one state at a time and covering all relevant firms together with the team. Engaging with prospects through emails, phone calls, and LinkedIn will be a key part of your day, with phone calls playing a crucial role in the U.S. market.

You'll take full responsibility for managing the entire sales cycle – from attending demo meetings booked by our SDR and inbound leads to following up on discussions and driving deals to closure. Collaboration is integral, so you'll participate in team discussions, share feedback, and continuously refine the sales approach. Additionally, you will regularly update your knowledge on product features and market trends to ensure you effectively communicate with clients and build a robust pipeline.

Your key responsibilities in a nutshell:

  • Targeted outbound prospecting with a sharply defined ICP, focusing on mid-sized and smaller companies in the U.S. market.
  • Implement a sequence of email, call, and LinkedIn interactions, with a particular emphasis on phone calls to maximize effectiveness.
  • Manage both inbound leads and self-sourced prospects, ensuring a balanced pipeline. We receive about 60 inbound leads per month, with a substantial number coming from the U.S. This strongly indicates a growing market where people are actively searching for and discovering our service.
  • Continuously refine and iterate on the sales strategy, sharing insights and best practices with the team.
  • Conduct meaningful conversations with potential clients, critically assessing their needs and presenting tailored solutions.

You will work closely with our:

  • Sales team: Collaborate with other sales professionals, sharing strategies and insights to optimize the sales process.
  • Founders: Engage directly with the company founders, aligning sales efforts with broader business goals and an inspiring vision.
  • Product users: Maintain understanding of our user feedback and how our platform meets their needs.
  • SDR: Work with our Sales Development Representative who provides a steady stream of qualified leads.

Key goals and metrics

Your success will be measured through specific targets and performance indicators, including:

  • Demo targets: Aim to conduct 5 new demos per week, balancing between self-sourced, inbound and SDR-generated leads.
  • Client engagement: Successfully guide prospects from initial contact to signed contracts, emphasizing the closing phase.
  • Monthly ARR targets: Aim for the realistic target of 40K €/month in new ARR.

Compensation model

We offer you a competitive package designed to reward high performance.

  • Base salary: 3300–4300 € per month.
  • Bonus structure: Earn a bonus equivalent to one month's portion of the new ARR. For example, achieving 40K €/month in new ARR will earn you an additional 3300 € in bonuses.
  • Future opportunities: An employee stock option program is planned, providing further incentives for long-term success.

We pride ourselves on a flat organizational structure that fosters togetherness and open communication. Our leadership is committed to supporting the team, providing responsibilities, and encouraging an environment where everyone can thrive.

At Maptionnaire, we work hard but maintain a healthy work-life balance. Our office is filled with laughter and camaraderie, and we enjoy daily lunches together – complete with perks like lunch benefits, health care, ice cream, and xylitol pastilles. 😉 We believe in creating a workplace where people feel good and are eager to come every day.

Our team shares a love for exploring urban environments, cycling, and unique adventures. Recently, we discovered quirky spots in Tallinn during a work trip. Whether it's mushroom picking in the forest or indulging in gaming, our diverse interests and readiness to explore bring us closer together and keep our workplace vibrant and fun.
