Our partner is currently recruiting for the position of Quality Assurance Lead in Poughkeepsie, NY. The primary responsibilities include analyzing business and technical requirements, developing the testing strategy, and performing or coordinating functional and performance testing for the credit union technologies. The Quality Assurance Lead works closely with peers, stakeholders, and end users to ensure quality deliverables and adherence to software testing and QA best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating an overall IT quality strategic roadmap and approach to quality assurance.
  • Develop end-to-end test strategies for platform and application deployments, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Establish quality assurance and testing standards and educate business users on these practices.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation for validating data quality and consistency.
  • Lead quality assurance plans for system integrations, conversions, and migrations.
  • Partner with the Project Management Office to incorporate quality assurance activities in project plans.
  • Provide oversight and management to third-party quality assurance service providers.
  • Increase team capacity through automated solutions.
  • Develop control processes and scorecards to monitor data and reporting issues.
  • Ensure adherence to established guidelines, policies, and technical frameworks.
  • Collaborate with business clients, technology personnel, and support providers to track and implement business requirements.
  • Stay current with technology trends, solutions, and vendors.
  • Perform other job-related duties as necessary.
  • Adhere to all credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in required and recommended training and development, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) training.
  • Embrace and apply the credit union's guiding principles, including the Mission, Vision, Core Values, Employee and Member Value Propositions, Sales and Service Model, and Lean Six Sigma practices.
  • Ensure regular and predictable attendance, including punctuality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT/Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in creating and executing testing plans and strategies.
  • Minimum 5 years of technology experience.
  • Work history in a credit union or financial institution is preferred.
