Head of Accounting

Currently, we are seeking for a proficient Head of Accounting, who will lead the initiative for transition of Dreamix’s accounting functions from an external vendor to an internal accounting team.

If you join our team you will:

• Participate in an exciting implementation project of Oracle, which will fully integrate Dreamix into the consolidated accounting of Synechron - a software service company with 1+ bln. USD revenues and more than 30 entities worldwide that is preparing for an IPO on NASDAQ
• Take a leading role in the transition of the accounting functions from an external vendor to the newly established Dreamix’s internal accounting team
• Actively participate in the initial setup of the accounting team and be responsible for the professional development of the remaining accountants
• Lead the end-to-end accounting process of two companies - Dreamix and its subsidiary PS Interactive
• Ensure the timely and accurate financial close and account reconciliation processes of the companies
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local requirements as well as Group accounting policies
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual, tax, management and statistical reports
• Communicate and provide information to external financial stakeholders - auditors, financial institutions, National Revenue Agency, etc.

What qualifications and skills you should have:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• At least 5 years accounting experience, previous experience with Oracle will be considered as a very strong advantage. Highly Motivated Senior Accountants with aspirations to become Head of Accounting are also strongly encouraged to apply;
• In-depth knowledge of local accounting standards and US GAAP
• Experience in filing company statutory accounts in Bulgaria
• ACCA, ACA, CPA, CFA certification would be considered as an advantage
• Fluency in English
• Advanced knowledge in Excel and Google Sheets
• Very strong attention to details and ability to work in a dynamic environment
• Proactive mindset with drive to learn and develop
