DevOps Engineer

ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of our client, is seeking a DevOps Engineer.
Our client is a leader firm in Greece, in the fields of IoT, Smart Cities and RnD. They are growing fast and they are looking a talented DevOps Engineer to join their SW Engineering Team.

📌 Location: Nea Smyrni, Attiki
📍 Working Model: Hybrid (3 days office, 2 remote)
🖋️ You will be reporting to the IT Manager

What you will do:
You will be fully dedicated to DevOps and you will participate in RnD Projects (related to IoT & Smart Cities). Your main responsibility will be to ensure that all deployments are implemented successfully. Overall, they already have custom implementations, and they are very open to suggestions related to their CI/CD strategy.
Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure using Docker and Kubernetes to ensure our applications run smoothly and efficiently.

• Automate the deployment and scaling of applications and services on Cloud (mainly Azure), driving efficiency and performance in our operations.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure efficient and secure deployment of applications, fostering a seamless development process and robust security practices.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, including performance and security incidents, ensuring systems remain reliable and secure.
• Work with the development team to enhance the CI/CD pipelines and promote a culture of continuous integration and delivery, making development process faster and more reliable.
• Develop and maintain automation and orchestration scripts and tools to streamline operations and reduce manual workload.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of applications and services, supporting and commitment to delivering top-notch performance and security to the clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 1+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.

• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Strong scripting skills (Python or Ruby or Bash) to create automation tools and improve efficiency.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins or CircleCI), enabling faster and more reliable software delivery.

• A passion for automation and continuous improvement, driving you to find new ways to enhance systems and processes.

Will be highly appreciated:

• Knowledge of HELM.
• Certifications from Azure/AWS or CNCF.
