Business Account Manager

The Role

We are currently seeking two passionate animal health Business Account Manager to join our NZ sales team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong business consultant to partner with veterinarian and clinic owners across a diverse range of high quality existing and new products and services supporting the animal health industry.

This role would suit a sales professional or someone from a clinical background (Vet, Vet Nurse or Practice Manager) that has gained some sales experience and is looking to stay within the industry.

Your main responsibilities will include –

• Analysing relevant sales information and market data to identify potential business growth.
• Developing mutually beneficial business relationships with potential customers, creating success through presentations that demonstrate our value proposition.
• Supporting our existing customers to maximise their business opportunities through genuine consultation to their business and identifying opportunities to engage with sales and marketing initiatives and our value-add services.
• Providing an all-round excellent customer experience through regular contact with clients, strong follow through on requests and commitments, and working closely with other Covetrus employees to ensure a seamless customer experience.

About You

To be successful you will have;

• A proven track record of achieving sales growth through leveraging new and existing business.
• A passion for the animal health industry coupled with the ability to understand data to drive better outcomes for our customers.
• Demonstrated ability to build lasting, value-add relationships within the animal health and/or agriculture industry.
• A current drivers license and the ability to travel as required.
• Previous sales experience in the veterinarian or agriculture industry (preferred).
• Bachelor degree qualifications in agriculture, animal sciences, business or similar (desired).
