Job Description

Manages services provided to Technical Service accounts within assigned region in accordance with PSC policies, practices and procedures.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for ensuring premier service is provided by local lab pack managers and teams on a consistent basis to Technical Service Accounts (service includes lab packs, on-site service, compliance assistance, special projects).
  • Ensure compliance with program requirements and customer satisfaction in accordance with PSC policies, practices and procedures.
  • Support sales department in the implementation of new accounts, presentation of services, response to inquiries and technical information.
  • Support lab pack managers in local offices to better service clients through management of staff; including hiring, training, development, and performance in accordance with HR policies and practices.
  • Provide support in the recruitment and hiring of field staff and program managers.
  • Provide technical support to field staff and managers and assist in the content development and deployment of technical trainings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Manage P&L of the service line within region and staff accordingly.

Requirements

Qualifications

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:

  • BS/BA in science related field.
  • Position appropriate training courses.
  • Management and leadership experience.
  • High Hazard, Radioactive skills a plus.

JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE:

  • 7-15 years Technical Field Service / Lab Pack experience.

DEMONSTRATED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • 40 hour OSHA training completed and current.
  • Well-developed knowledge of Resource Conservation Recovery Act and Department of Transportation and TSCA regulations.
  • Significant knowledge of technical requirements of lab-pack clients, including RCRA, DOT and OSHA regulations and requirements.
  • Working knowledge of high hazard management, client on-site regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work independently using initiative and effective communication to solve challenges.
  • Ability to analyze P&L statements, maintain and track EBITDA levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in start-up operations.
  • Moderate to extensive travel is required
