IMAGINE THE FUTURE WITH ENVALIOR

As Business Manager-Intermediates Asia at Envalior, you need to be responsible for supervising, developing and implementing a plan to maintain and grow sales for the INT Film & Extrusion business in Asia. As a Business Development Manager, the person will align sales strategy with the Director Global Sales F&E, will lead local commercial activities accordingly to increase or maintain highest margins possible and to guarantee full capacity utilization of the Asian production assets. Also the Asia sales of imported products from the Intermediates cluster will be monitored and steered by him/her. The job holder will monitor and report Asian market developments for the respective Intermediate products. Besides aligning with sales lead, the person needs to work closely with Pricing and Market Intelligence, local production, the Global Supply Chain organisation and the product management.

Main Responsibilities

· Coordinate and execute Asian sales strategy and activities in alignment with Director M&S Film and Extrusion

· Lead local sales force/ account management, develop goals and objectives, projects and priorities and assign them to the team

· Coordinate sales activities with other units or departments and with shared services (SCM, customers service, production, product development, …)

· Involvement in strategic projects around local assets and portfolio (portfolio change, portfolio rationalization)

· Develop and maintain market intelligence Asia (conferences, talks to publications & customers) under guidance and in close coordination with MI Intermediates & Strategy and MI Envalior

· Diversify sales to other regions in Asia

Requirements

· Bachelor's or above Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or Business related field

· Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiating skills

· Detail oriented with good written and verbal communication skills

· Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office products, internet, CRM or Salesforce, Analytical skills

· Ability to work both independently and as a team player in a close-knit sales team

· Proactive learner, ambitious and success driven; strong interest to develop technical product & application skills

· Confident, energetic and organized

· Self-motivated and driven to excellence

· Full proficiency in English, any other language preferred
