Research & Insight Analysts are expected to independently manage research projects in their entirety (research design, setup, workflow, resources, delivery), assigning specific tasks to the executive line and ensuring the quality of work. These will also play an advisory role (both with clients and We Are Social teams), recommending the most suitable research solutions.

They are also expected to carry out executive work without supervision. These are expected to be thoroughly independent throughout their tasks, with their outputs ideally requiring only minor revision. These are also expected to be proactive and solution-oriented.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Setup the most suitable methodology and research structure according to specific needs / contexts.
  • Keep up to date with developments and changes on platform-specific metrics / data.
  • Master the use analytical tools (e.g. listening/performance tools / DBs etc.).
  • Present and effectively explain findings to specific audiences / stakeholders.
  • Develop compelling storytelling.
  • Communicate with clients and teams at different levels.
  • Support agency wide pitches and upsell large opportunities;
  • Able to setup and guide ongoing and campaign reports;
  • Able to understand different projects will require different research approaches and methodologies to get to the best results;
  • Able to adapt ways of working and methodologies for different projects to get to the best results and drive growth for the team;
  • Constantly keeps up to date with latest technology, methodology, creative best practices, clients' and industries' news, applying the findings to agency, client and industry problems, coming up with solutions
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of social and platforms;
  • Finds interesting and new industry trends that can be applied to our work or clients. Shares the content and explains why this is applicable to the agency / client;
  • Brings an effectiveness specialism to the team linked specifically social, brand and commercial data. A specialist should be able to develop complex measurement frameworks and is likely to have traditional quant research methodology training - surveys, data analysis, econometrics. Should be able model out results and create a test and learn culture in the agency and in clients;
  • Recommend approaches for sharing knowledge in the organization and encourage team members to contribute sharing best practices;
  • Able to understand clients' needs and able to confidently present effectiveness results (grounded in insights linked specific actions the client can immediately take and in the long term) based on client activities;
