The Senior Events and Festivals Officer provides leadership on strategy operations for major events including the award winning Hume Winter Lights Festival, as well as support to events grants and permitting processes.

Provide strategic advice to support the planning and deliver of a vibrant and inclusive events program at one of Melbourne's most exciting Councils.

What you’ll be doing:

• Facilitate the events permitting process (including guidance, information, templates, and support), to ensure that it is in line with statutory and regulatory requirements, in support of community amenity, and accessible to the community.
