ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of our client, is seeking a Data Scientist.

Our client is an IT Solutions Provider, and specifically, a Greek company based in Thessaloniki, with focus on software development and ICT Solutions.

📌 Location: Thessaloniki, Greece

📍 Working Model: On-site

🖋️You will be reporting to: Software Engineer Team Lead

What you will do:

As a Data Scientist, specializing in ML and blockchain technologies, your responsibilities will focus on creating and implementing advanced data-driven solutions. You will work with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize algorithms and models, with focus on Smart Cities Projects.

More specifically, you will be:

• Creating and deploying ML models and algorithms for smart city solutions
• Analyzing large datasets to derive insights, perform predictive analytics, and enhance business operations
• Developing and optimizing deep learning models for natural language processing, computer vision, and recommendation systems
• Creating smart contracts and decentralized applications (DApps) for system integration
• Collecting, preprocessing, and analyzing diverse large datasets
• Ensuring data quality and integrity throughout its lifecycle
• Building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure
• Collaborating with software engineers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to meet requirements and deliver solutions
• Effectively communicating findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Documenting methods, processes, and results for future reference and reproducibility

Requirements

• University Degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering field
• Master’s or PhD in ML, Data Science, will be considered a strong asset
• 2+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, with a strong focus on ML/AI
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python)
• Involvement in IoT projects will be considered a plus
• Deep understanding of machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn).
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
