Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage digital transformation initiatives to align with the company’s vision strategic objectives.
• Champion the adoption of composable technologies architecture to ensure agility and scalability of digital solutions.
• Make informed decisions on buy versus build to optimize resources and technology investments.
• Foster a culture of diversity, innovation, continuous improvement, collaboration, and agility within the team.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable and robust digital solutions, including websites, mobile applications, and backend systems.
• Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of digital platforms through best practices in architecture, coding, and testing.
• Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture team to design and build complex, high-performance, reliable, scalable, testable, and maintainable software solutions.
• Drive the successful execution of digital engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
• Implement agile methodologies and project management practices to optimize workflow and enhance team collaboration.
• Manage the budget of the digital engineering department, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
• Foster strong partnerships with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service, to ensure seamless integration of digital solutions. Create collaborative business relationships, develop roadmaps, lead implementation projects, and build high-performance teams.
• Communicate technical concepts and strategies to non-technical stakeholders, providing clear insights into the impact of digital initiatives.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, encouraging professional growth and skill development.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Lead a team of 120+ skilled technology professionals dispersed across the US and Ireland with the majority based at the corporate HQ in Utah.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in digital engineering or a related field, with at least 8 years in a Senior leadership role.
• Experience in leading digital capabilities such as ecommerce, mobile app and customer care & managing multiple teams
• Proven experience in leading digital transformation initiatives and implementing composable technologies architecture.
• Demonstrated ability to make strategic decisions on buy versus build.
• Experience hiring and leading diverse teams.
• Demonstrated proficiency in leading CI/CD, collaborating with DevOps, Data Engineering and Cybersecurity.

Base Pay Range:

$200,000 - $250,000

Physical Requirements:

This position requires you to sit, stand and perform general office functions. You may also be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
