Technical Program Manager - Hardware Development

Dexterity Japan team is seeking a Technical Program Manager to build and manage relationships with hardware (HW) suppliers and partners headquartered in Japan. This role will act as a local extension of the core engineering team of Dexterity headquarters (HQ) in the US and lead discussions and actions of various sub-projects between Japanese partners and Dexterity HQ for successful new HW product introductions. The Technical Program Manager will be responsible for supporting product requirements and collaboration scope clarification, leading and facilitating project activities, managing sub-project baselines and technology risk areas, prototype testing and reliability evaluation of new HW products, quality issue analysis and countermeasure implementation, and progress tracking of quality issue countermeasures.

• Engineering academic background (mechanical or mechatronics is a plus)
• Minimum 7+ years of work experience in the hardware-related industry
• Fluent Japanese for effective communication with robot suppliers
• Business-level English for effective communication with the US headquarters
• Experience in bridging cross-border technical communication is a plus
