We are currently seeking a dynamic & proactive Chief Engineer to lead our engineering team. In this role, you will report directly to the General Manager.
About the Role
The Chief Engineer is responsible for the overall maintenance and engineering operations of the hotel. This includes managing maintenance staff, ensuring all equipment is in good working order, and overseeing all maintenance projects. The Chief Engineer plays a critical role in maintaining the safety and comfort of guests and staff, ensuring compliance with all local and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Maintenance Operations: Oversee all maintenance and repair activities for the hotel, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural systems, gymnasium, saunas, swimming and spa pools.
- Staff Management: Supervise, train, and schedule engineering staff, ensuring efficient operation and satisfactory performance.
