Occupant safety systems rely on active sensors and microprocessors to trigger pre-crash and in-crash occupant protection (such as tightening safety belts and deploy airbags) when it judges a collision is inevitable. Critical crash information is sent over e-call to emergency services and recorded for post-crash analysis.

Deliverables

  • Understand the Automotive market opportunity for RCS / Veoneer product and identify the gaps in present business.
  • Approach new and existing customers in Automotive area for increasing business.
  • Engaging in deep technical discussions with Customer's R & D and Corresponding development department of Veoneer.
  • Preparing Technical and commercial offers and submitting to the Customers, negotiation and order closure.
  • Demand Planning, Sales forecasting, Budgeting, Reviewing self-performance and course correction are an integral part of the function.
  • Maintaining and continuously updating the database of Customers & their products & application, requirement, turnover and key decision makers.
  • Developing long-term relationships with Customers through managing and interpreting their requirements.
  • Keeping abreast about industry news, trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about existing, and emerging technologies etc.
  • Co-ordinating with the Product Marketing & R & D department teams, and keep oneself updated with latest developments on product, production, process possibilities to offer against market opportunities.
  • Ensuring that customer satisfaction is maintained & report the aspects leading to customer dissatisfaction (if any)
  • Handling customer complaints if any in a timely and effective manner.
  • Preparing various business reports as per company requirements.
  • Key account manager to OEMs, and Tier I customers. Business Acquisition-RFQ Review, Costing, Commercial quote preparation, Negotiation & Finalization of Business
  • Costing of products and financial modelling to arrive at sales price, EBITA, Payback, and other financial metrics.
  • Ensure profitability of the existing business to get necessary cost impact on account of RM/Forex/Any Engineering change.
  • Coordinate between CFT & Customer ensuring the above responsibilities are handled with independence, authority & accountability.

Responsibilities and Activities

Preferred Qualification: BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech / MBA
