Renesas is actively seeking an experienced and dynamic business operations professional to fill the role of Senior Business Operations Manager for the Discrete MOSFET Product line . The Discrete MOSFET Product line, part of Power Division, develops Low/Medium voltage MOSFET for automotive including EV market, charging infra, traditional industrial application from motor control, solar inverter, power tool etc, emerging market such as AI, datacenter, many different type of power supply application. Market size is greater than $12B market TAM and Renesas want to penetrate in this market deeply

As part of Renesas’s Discrete MOSFET Product line, you will partner with Operations, New Product Introduction (NPI) and Marketing teams to run the business and ensure business objectives are met. In this role wide-ranging role, you will have broad influence and latitude to set priorities for both business development and investments to drive execution, product ramp, product cost down, roadmap and supplier selection. You will develop, consolidate, and provide KPI and other business data to track progress and drive critical business decisions. You will assemble and lead teams to meet short and long-term improvement objectives.

[Key Responsibilities>

  • Own all business operations activities for the Discrete MOSFET Product line.
  • Develop and maintain product line business performance indicators and prepare monthly business operation reports, including BIBA, Bookings, Channel Inventory, POS Consumption, etc.
  • Perform analytics of the opportunity funnel and design in/wins.
  • Manage demand forecasting for new products, sustaining products and engineering samples. Manage the sampling process of new products.
  • Work with Renesas’s operations team on wafer starts and capacity planning. Own business decisions on manufacturing priority. Evaluate data in BIBA and forecast to make needed adjustments to manufacturing build and inventory planning.
  • Support supply escalations from Sales to Operations and Tactical Marketing.
  • Manage pricing strategy and quotes for both new product introductions and sustaining products.
  • Provide support to the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process.
  • Review lifecycle stages of our product portfolio and determine when to promote to EOL status.
  • Drive improvements in business and NPI processes.

Requirements

[Qualifications>

  • BSEE or related field with 10+ years of experience in operations, marketing and/or manufacturing in the semiconductor industry. MBA is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong ability to make data-driven decisions and effectively use key performance indicators to measure success.
  • High energy, self-motivated, and go-getter attitude, with a bias towards action.
  • Exceptional communications and interpersonal skills, with the ability to be personable and drive process changes. Experience with managing change that resulted in positive outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing complex supply chains and high volume manufacturing.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills. Ability to present complex concepts in a clear, concise and effective way.
  • Ability to collaborate and be effective in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must need Si-base MOSFET, IGBT, WBG- Si, GaN, HV Gate driver, Module business such as IPM, PIM Power device experience
  • Must have WW Global customer experience for automotive & industrial customer
