Side by side with MAN Truck & Bus, one of Europe's leading manufacturers of commercial vehicles, we are hiring for a dedicated team in our Hub.🚚

MAN Truck & Bus is focusing on three key areas:

Alternative drive systems;

Digitalization;

Automated driving;

Thus transforming itself from a commercial vehicle manufacturer to a provider of intelligent and sustainable transport solutions.

About the Team:

The Over-the-Air services 👨‍💻 provide software and services that allow over-the-air updates and managing trucks while on the road. To enable fast and reliable delivery of latest apps and services to the vehicles, by providing an advanced, secure and scalable platform for MAN trucks and our partners. In the context of automotive IoT, the OTA Services create and run DevOps solutions, web-based tools and customer-facing interfaces using modern cloud infrastructure. With the increasing number of software and services in the vehicle and more than 240.000 connected Trucks the OTA Services platform has to adapt and grow constantly to fulfill the needs of a modern, connected truck.

Your Responsibilities:

• You are responsible for the success of a MAN product in the automotive IoT context;
• You ensure the technical, functional and non-functional requirements for your product are considered by working closely with the team;
• You take care of new and existing services with constant involvement of the customer and together with the team;
• You account for delivery, quality and technical documentation;
• Supporting technical and architecture decisions, you ensure the operational readiness of your team;
• You are in charge of validating the development of new concepts and economically viable use cases;
• You take care of coordination between stakeholders, other teams and your team within an agile development framework;
• You will manage the product backlog, the product vision and strategy in cooperation with your agile development team, while always keeping an eye on maximizing value;
• You write user stories and transform complex problems into clearly articulated objectives;
• You will foster the use of Agile and DevOps by providing KPIs, goals and visions;
• You will put your leadership abilities into play, serving the team and foster continuous improvement;
• You will be part of the team and help improve the product as well as solve blockers.

Your Skills:

• Bachelor's or master degree in related field or comparable job expertise;
• At least 3 years of experience;
• Proven experience working with digital products in an international context;
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken;
• Team-oriented mindset and strong collaboration skills;
• Good analytical and communication capabilities;
• Strong sense of accountability, quality and ownership;
• Good documentation skills and knowledge of current IT topics (e.g. Domain Driven Design, IoT, REST, Cloud, etc.);
• Ability to present and discuss complex technical circumstances with different target groups, adapting to the needed level of detail and language;
• Previous experience in digital product development as a Product Owner;
• You feel at home in an Agile and DevOps environment and have excellent knowledge of methods such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean etc;
• You have a background in software engineering and good analytical skills;
• You enjoy working in cross functional teams with changing requirements;
• Willingness to travel to the offices of MAN Truck & Bus (Munich - Germany) when needed;
• Being a good storyteller is an advantage;
• Experience in building new business areas is a plus;
• •Having experience in the automotive sector is of benefit.
