GIS Annotator

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a BPO company that is looking to recruit a GIS Annotator to join their offices in Timisoara. The primary objective of the GIS Annotators is to review and annotate various types of content that include images, video, Lidar data according to project-specific guidelines. GIS Annotators will contribute to AI & machine learning projects by providing high-quality annotated data to facilitate training for ML models.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Evaluate and tag video, audio, and image content based on guidelines provided by the client.
• To review/identify various contents which could be images, video, Lidar data, and pass their individual judgements/decisions restricted within the options being provided as per task guidelines.
• Create 3D cuboids, boundary boxes, point annotation, polygon, polyline, semantic segmentation, point cloud labelling etc. to select image/video files, join boxes as per instructions, do transcription where applicable, make sentence correction as per your own judgement and give guidelines based on projects aligned.
• Do calibration sessions within Team, with other locations or even with clients as per instruction from the Command Centre.
• To do Peer audits as a part of the process model and to assist in training as needed.
• To coordinate with other team members to share best practice.
• Work independently and within a team
• Communicate well with internal and external contacts as per requirement.
• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously without any / minimal guidance or help from seniors or peers team members
• All KPI-related tasks must be followed & adhered to avoid business impact
• Maintain confidentiality for all process-related work and other office-related critical details
• Any additional ad hoc tasks that may contribute to a better service to the client or improvement to the KPI

REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior experience in LIDAR / 3D annotations would be an added advantage
• Excellent knowledge of English (C1)
• Basic understanding of Geographic information system
• Computer Skill**:** Basic level computer handling skills
• Eye for detail
• Experience in any annotation tool and GIS mapping tools would be an added advantage
• Strong sense of logical reasoning with decision making.
• Should have the ability to multitask and be flexible to work on rotational shifts.
