Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking for an ambitious, self-motivated Data Analyst to work on a variety of tasks and projects. His/her primary focus will be to engage in the business and clients with strong communication skills to maximize value from data analytics and support the team’s capability and growth, while enabling the wider organization.

• Deliver Actionable Insights: Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques to provide ongoing, impactful reports that drive business decisions.
• Optimize Efficiency: Develop and implement data analyses, collection systems, and strategies to enhance statistical efficiency and quality, leading to operational improvements.
• Extract and Interpret Data: Utilize data mining techniques to uncover correlations and patterns, identifying trends that inform strategic initiatives.
• Transform Data into Insights: Organize and transform complex data sets into clear, actionable insights that support predictive analytics and business forecasting
• Visualize Data for Decision-Making: Use advanced tools and techniques to visualize data, creating intuitive dashboards and reports that inform stakeholders and guide decision-making.
• Present and Communicate Findings: Prepare comprehensive reports and present findings to management and clients, translating complex data into understandable insights.
• Innovate and Automate Processes: Identify opportunities to automate processes and recommend innovative solutions to streamline business operations and enhance efficiency.
• Ensure Data Quality: Develop and monitor processes to ensure data integrity, consistency, and reliability.
• Report Development: Build paginated reports in Power BI Report Builder or SSRS, ensuring accurate and timely information delivery.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to understand data content, business requirements, and deliver tailored insights that meet their needs.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience: 5-7 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst, demonstrating a track record of delivering impactful insights.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in data models, data cleaning, structuring, data mining, power query and segmentation techniques.
• DAX Expertise: Experience creating Calculated Tables, Calculated Columns, and Measures using DAX
• Database Knowledge: Strong understanding of RDBMS database design.
• Reporting and Visualization: Experience in structuring Power BI data models, building reports, and dashboards.
• PowerBI Administration: Knowledge of publishing, getaway installation & configuration and Row Level Security (RLS), Configuration of automated refresh schedule, PowerBI App provisioning, Workspace Management
• Analytical Abilities: Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings that drive business outcomes.
• Adaptability: Quick learner of new software and technologies, with the ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Reporting Skills: Knowledge of reporting packages (Business Objects, etc.), databases (SQL, etc.), and programming (XML, Python scripts, or ETL frameworks).
• Web Development Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing previous web development work.
• .Proficiency in R or Python for data analysis.
