At Trunk Tools, we are tackling the massive $13 trillion+ construction industry. Weโ€™re an exceptional team of serial entrepreneurs, brought together by our shared mission: automating construction. Our founding team (SpaceX, Stanford, MIT, Carta, etc.) has successfully built and deployed software in construction for 140k+ users, millions of users beyond the construction space, and worked on +$2 billion of built-environment projects. We arenโ€™t another out-of-touch tech startup, most of our team comes from construction.

We spent the last few years building the brain behind construction. Now we are deploying workflows/ agents, starting with Q&A document chatbot, to be ingrained in construction teamsโ€™ workflows, ultimately to automate construction. Given our immense traction with several Fortune 500 construction companies, we are doubling our team in order to deploy several more agents this year. You will have an opportunity to drive the transformation of a multi-trillion-dollar industry full of waste, risks and inefficiencies.

What you'll be doing:

  • Drive Product Vision and Strategy: Lead the development and execution of the product roadmap for our Construction/ AI platform, specifically tailored to the construction industry. Align product strategy with overall business objectives and market needs.
  • Customer-Centric Development: Engage closely with customers to understand their needs, pain points, and feedback. Translate these insights into actionable product features and improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality products on time. Ensure seamless communication and alignment across all departments.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data analytics and market research to inform product decisions. Monitor product performance, user engagement, and ROI to continuously optimize the product.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including feature prioritization, MVP definition, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Stakeholder Management: Regularly update and align with senior leadership and key stakeholders on product progress, challenges, and upcoming milestones.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor products. Proactively suggest and implement innovative solutions to enhance our product offering.

Qualifications

  • Experience: You have 5+ years of experience in product management, particularly within the B2B SaaS space. Experience in construction technology is a strong plus.
  • Customer-Obsessed: You prioritize understanding customer needs and are driven to create products that provide real value to users.
  • Strategic Thinker: You can see the big picture and align product goals with business objectives. You are skilled in developing and executing strategic product roadmaps.
  • Collaborative Leader: You excel in cross-functional environments, working effectively with engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams to bring products to market.
  • Data-Driven: You rely on data and analytics to make informed product decisions. Youโ€™re comfortable with product metrics, KPIs, and performance analysis.
  • Excellent Communicator: You are articulate, both verbally and in writing, and can effectively communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences, including technical teams and senior executives.
  • Adaptable and Resilient: You thrive in fast-paced environments, can manage multiple priorities, and are comfortable with ambiguity and change.
