We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join one of our Core Platform Engineering teams at Marqeta! The Core Platform Engineering team is responsible for developing and managing the Marqeta platform, which our customers use to launch and manage their payment card programs. These teams work with card networks and issuing banks to issue cards, authorize transactions, and communicate with settlement entities. There are multiple teams within Core Platform that are hiring including Ledger, Core Objects, Transaction Foundation, Identity Platform and Core Edge Processing.
As a Software Engineer II, you will deliver resilient and sustainable software projects from design to implementation and rollout. You will execute on defined projects to achieve team-level goals and work on and own minor features in support of larger features. You will contribute heavily to test development and bug fixing and may mentor new hires, interns, or more junior engineers.
