As a Senior Software Engineer on our Kubernetes Platform Engineering team, you will build and operate our managed Kubernetes platform in a distributed AWS environment which runs Marqeta and all of our production workloads. We are looking for experienced Kubernetes Engineers with deep passion for distributed systems to join us on our mission to optimize and expand our platform!
We work Flexible First. This role can be performed remotely anywhere within the United States or from our Oakland office. We’d love for you to join us!
The Impact You'll Have
- Build, test, and continuously improve our modern, repeatable Kubernetes infrastructure
- Leverage IaC to define all of our repeatable infrastructure in Terraform
- Create secure, available, fully automated, repeatable, and Cloud Native infrastructure
- Reduce operating costs by creating the infrastructure and scaffolding for our engineering user community to deploy multi-region, highly-available services
Who You Are
