The Role:

The Senior Director, Strategic Partnerships and Outsourcing will be responsible for leading the strategy and implementation of objectives across all Strategic Partnerships and Clinical Outsourcing and Contracting within Clinical Development Operations (CDO). This role will work closely with functional leadership and teams across the company to support the vision of Moderna in the work with third-party vendors and is responsible for driving strong partnership values throughout the lifecycle and lifetime of each vendor relationship. This role is a visible leadership position within CDO and is expected to have a significant impact across the organization.

Here’s What You’ll Do:

• Serve as a strategic leader and counterpart on key partnerships, ensuring successful new vendor collaborations, and maintenance and/or improvement of existing partnerships in an evolving environment.
• Develop the strategic outsourcing strategy in alignment and collaboration with internal decisions on external vs. internal capability build and opportunities.
