Your new role

As a Principal or Associate in our UK Management Consulting team, you will work in the front line of helping organisations develop strategies and solutions to pursue opportunities and tackle the complexity of the energy transition.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Driving the growth and development in the Energy Sector consulting services,
  • Build sector / offering specific capacity within the team, including providing formal and informal learning opportunities, and driving career development for junior team members
  • Analysing complex challenges and conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses
  • Envisioning, designing and testing innovative, strategic solutions and communicating results and recommendations convincingly in a highly structured manner
  • Ensuring project delivery with a focus on client management, quality assurance, and building deep, long-term relationships that position Ramboll as the partner of choice for our clients
  • Building sales pipeline, ensuring high-quality project delivery, and growing and building the capacity of the required team to deliver against agreed-upon practice targets
  • Supporting the designing of strategy processes at a corporate, business unit and functional level
  • Drive sales and opportunities, bridging relevant technical and commercial expertise to build credibility and develop client relationships
  • Collaborate with Ramboll engineering and EHS experts in deploying integrated energy transition solutions as a marketplace differentiator

About you

We are seeking an experienced consultants with deep expertise within green energy transition, with the passion to help build our Energy Transition Consulting business. You will join our UK team, and support the growth of our UK business, while also contributing to our global portfolio of projects in the sector. The role includes setting the strategy, leading business development, and team management and project delivery.

  • A strong management consulting and /or economics skillset or aptitude
  • Professional experience from the energy sector or delivering to it
  • Have proven consulting experience in leading and building clients accounts and teams
  • Strong communication skills and a natural talent for driving progress and succeeding through teamwork
  • A reliable, solution-oriented and structured approach to work
  • Open and positive mindset
  • A global player, an international outlook, willingness to travel in UK and internationally
