JOIN OLX GENERATIVE AI SERVICES ENGINEERING TEAM

This role is based in Spain.

We are seeking a Mid/Senior Engineer to join our newly established Generative AI Services team. This dynamic group is dedicated to revolutionizing our products and services through the power of Generative AI. Our mission is to empower various product teams to seamlessly integrate advanced AI capabilities into their workflows, thereby significantly enhancing the overall customer experience.

As an engineer in our team, you'll be collaborating closely with colleague engineers and SREs, the product team, data scientists, and an engineering manager while building one of the newest distributed systems we have in the company. Our systems are built with Python, Kotlin, or Golang and they run on AWS, frontend is built using React, but we have some systems that use Vue. Mobile Applications are written on Kotlin, and Swift, and the new trend is to use Flutter as the main framework for the mobile application.

What you will do:

• Take part in the planning, execution, and success of complex technical projects.
• Serve as the primary entry point for all front-end related tasks for the team.
• Be prepared to contribute to mobile applications written in Flutter as well as other front-end tasks.
• Be an integral part of the team and establish credibility through the quality of your own and your team’s technical execution.
• Encourage the team to innovate, invent, implement, and deploy complex software solutions.
• Ask questions, brainstorm, and take ownership of the product we are building.
• Work closely with the product management team to ensure we’re building the best products for our users

Who we're looking for:

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development with React and Typescript
• Professional experience working with Flutter or any other modern cross-platform framework is a big plus
• Passion for architecting, building, and scaling cloud-based systems, serving millions of users
• Ability to debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks
• Experience in architecting Cloud Native solutions, AWS is a plus
• Worked in multi-functional teams
• Believe in self-aligned teams and "you build it, you run it" philosophy
• Experience in building AI/ML-enabled products is a plus
