Your New Role

Due to an internal promotion, we have a rare opportunity for an experienced Key Account Manager to join our Wholesale Team! As a Key Account Manager, you'll be driving the sales performance and end-to-end servicing of our key Australian accounts, that span a diverse range of sectors including big-box retailers, giftware shops, cafes, and corporate co-branding partners.

Working closely with our National Sales Manager and Head of Sales, you'll be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with major partners, executing go-to-market strategies, and ensuring that our sustainably focused and award-winning products continue to shine in the market. You'll also collaborate with an in-house trade marketing specialist to tailor strategies for each account, addressing their unique needs in financial planning, visual merchandising, and marketing efforts.

Your Day to Day

  • Manage and grow nominated key accounts, focusing on year-on-year growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.
  • Create tailored strategies and action plans for each key account.
  • Provide accurate sales volume forecasts to the National Sales Manager and Head of Sales.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Address and resolve any issues with key accounts promptly.
  • Contribute to key business projects, including data management and ERP support.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture within the team.

What You Need

  • Proven experience managing and growing tier-one accounts within wholesale or a similar environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate data effectively.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and client needs simultaneously.
  • Intermediate level of Microsoft Excel and experience with cloud-based ERP and CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of Google Suite and experience with NetSuite (desired).
  • Ability to travel locally or interstate as required.
