Your new role: Area Vice President - UK

We are seeking a highly skilled Area Vice President (AVP) to lead the growth and implementation of Cognigy's market entry in the UK and Ireland (UKI) region. This role is critical to achieving sales revenue goals and managing all aspects of the UKI go-to-market (GTM) strategy, including new business development and account expansion. The successful candidate will be an experienced leader and coach, with a proven ability to build and manage high-performance GTM teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for regional GTM for Cognigy products and services in alignment with Cognigy’s growth targets and global GTM strategy
  • Develop, implement, and execute a comprehensive revenue growth strategy for the UKI region
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to adjust strategies for achieving revenue targets
  • Identify new business opportunities and plan approaches to capture them
  • Conduct daily stand-up meetings with the sales team to discuss priorities, progress, and challenges
  • Provide coaching and feedback to team members to improve their performance
  • Promote a culture of integrity and ethical behavior within the team
  • Organize and lead training sessions to improve sales techniques and product knowledge
  • Ensure team members have access to the resources and support they need to succeed
  • Prepare daily and weekly sales reports to track performance against targets
  • Present updates to senior management on sales activities, forecasts, and any issues impacting performance

Requirements

About you

  • Proven market knowledge and an existing network in Contact Center SaaS.
  • A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in high-tech/SaaS sales organizations.
  • Successful experience selling Contact Center and/or SaaS solutions.
  • Consistent overachievement of annual quota with demonstrated success in scaling revenue in new markets.
  • Experience in building and leading high-performing sales teams, with progressive second-line leadership experience in strategic sales.
  • Strong experience working with channels for growth and success, partnering with Marketing, Channel Alliances, Product, and Engineering peers.
  • High levels of integrity, initiative, honesty, and leadership, with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Native English speaker with exceptional communication and leadership skills.
  • Alignment with company values and a commitment to working in accordance with those values.
