Debt Capital Markets (DCM) is responsible for the origination, structuring, execution and syndication of a wide range of debt-related products, including bonds and asset-backed securities issued by Corporate entities, Government Institutions, Financial Institutions and Sponsors. The unit operates from offices in the Nordic capitals and from Frankfurt and London with professionals providing both specific product and sector expertise. We are now looking for an Analyst to join the High Yield & Convertible origination team within DCM in Stockholm.

About the role:

You will be responsible for supporting origination, structuring, and execution activities of funding and capital transactions for target High Yield & Convertible clients of SEB. You will participate in the origination process as well as providing input on new business opportunities.

As an Analyst you will

• Be responsible for preparing high quality pitches, marketing material and financial modelling

• Keep maintenance of market intelligence and market data

• Participate in the idea generation for new business opportunities

• Participate in the development and implementation of strategy for various DCM products

In addition to strong academic results and analytical skills we value an outgoing personality and team player mentality, integrity, high work capacity and a genuine interest in financial markets. You are a recent graduate or have up to 2 years’ experience from similar positions or a role within investment banking, financing, management consulting, with strong skills in financial modelling and power point.

You show commitment to learn and constantly develop your skill set, and you work in a structured way with focus on quality, details, and deadlines.

We operate as a global team where seamless communication and collaboration with other units across the bank is key to our success. Fluency in English is a requirement, and basic knowledge in a Scandinavian language is preferred.
