POSITION OVERVIEW

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy, creating aspirational and desirable text, photo, and video content, monitoring our channels with strategic reporting, and keeping an active and lively exchange with our community. The candidate will develop Tiger of Sweden’s social media presence across social platforms by curating captivating content and innovative storytelling strategies to engage audiences globally.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement data-driven social media strategies that align with the brand's marketing goals and target audience.
  • Take full ownership and management of our social channel calendar, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality content that resonates with the audience and aligns with the brand’s messaging.
  • Oversee the design and tone of voice of the social media accounts, collaborating with our Editor in Chief, Art Director and Graphic Designer to create compelling content, sourcing and selecting assets for channels.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies and social media platform updates and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to engage and take action.
  • Foster meaningful interactions with our online communities, responding to comments, messages and inquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Work closely with our PR team to foster influencer relationships and ensure paid influencer campaigns are smoothly executed and monetised to ensure maximum exposure.
  • Work closely with our Ecommerce team and paid marketing manager to ensure paid ads align with our overall social media strategy.
  • Ensure Ecommerce events and retail events are successfully promoted via the relevant social channels.
  • Oversee and utilise analytics tools to track KPI’s and other metrics.
  • Compile regular reports summarising social media performance and provide actionable insights for continuous improvements and adaptations for best practices across each individual platform.
  • Continuously improve by acting on the information.
  • Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or relevant field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Social Media Management or Digital Marketing role.
  • Experience from an international fashion/luxury brand or agency is a plus.
  • A passion for social media and experience driving strong results within a high-performing social team.
  • An understanding of analytics tools such as Meta and Google Analytics and how these can inform content strategy and deliver the best return on investment (ROI).
  • Knowledge of developments in digital publishing and an interest in finding new ways to reach target audiences through visual storytelling.
  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager in an international environment and knowledge of the whole social media landscape.
  • Conceptional mindset to create a consistent story for our brand.
  • Deep enthusiasm for experimenting with content strategy, aimed to increase key metrics.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.

TOOLS & SYSTEMS

  • Comprehensive understanding of all popular social media channels including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn.
  • Microsoft Office.
  • Adobe Suite.
  • Familiar with scheduling and reporting tools.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Google Analytics and Meta.
  • Knowledge of Indesign and Photoshop is desirable.
