Job Summary

The Senior Sales Manager, Benelux & France s assumes a pivotal role in enhancing the visibility of Domes Resorts within their designated territory. At the core of this position is the strategic development of sales opportunities, meticulous customer account management, and substantial contribution to hotels, focusing on Benelux, French & Italian Markets.

Success will ultimately be based on consumed revenues however brand awareness and other appropriate matrix will be used to agree targets.

Your main responsibilities

  • Provide luxury sales expertise to key luxury travel clients across Benelux, France & Italy
  • Utilize established relationships with key decision-makers in luxury travel markets to promote and facilitate leisure and luxury consortia business.
  • Cultivate relationships with travel advisors and clients, delivering value, support, and creativity.
  • Implement tailor-made sales strategies for the hotels, connecting with the right market of travel agents and tour operators for each brand and destination.
  • Conduct sales representation in the market, performing day-to-day sales calls, prospecting, and closing deals, along with providing product training either in client offices or virtually.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key travel agency and tour operator contacts in agreed geographical markets, participating in tradeshows and liaising with travel advisor consortiums.
  • Launch roadshow opportunities in agreed markets, including sales weeks and uniquely curated events.
  • Arrange for advisors to visit hotels on educational trips and site inspections, incorporating as many hotels as possible to create exciting multi-destination itineraries.

Requirements

Experience/Certificates/Education

• College/University Degree or equivalent experience, ideally within a hospitality or commercial discipline.

• Significant experience in hotel sales (property, national sales or global sales).

• Good experience and knowledge of the FIT, leisure groups especially in Benelux, France & Italy.

• Fluency in written and spoken English. French is an advantage.

• Highest level of competency in the use of Microsoft office programs is required.

Abilities/Key Competencies/Skills

• Comprehensive sales knowledge of hospitality sector in local market and the designated market segments (Benelux & France)

• Strong negotiation and closing skills.

• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and targets.

• Flexibility to adjust to the changing needs of the business, taking on new ideas, initiatives, brands and responsibilities as they present themselves.

• Ability to work simultaneously on a number of initiatives and priorities often under pressure.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with people at all levels and from all backgrounds and parts of the world.

• Works with a high level of accountability, results orientated and dependable.
