POSITION SUMMARY:

Marathon Petroleum Company is in search of a highly motivated process engineer to support existing asset optimization and major capital projects development/implementation supporting the Mandan Refinery and Dickinson Renewable Diesel Facility.

Process Project Engineers / Process Optimization Group (POG) Engineers provide technical support related to optimization of plant operations and strategic capital investment decisions. POG Engineers are market drivers to help determine future optimization and investment strategies.

This position reports to the Tech Services Manager and is located in Mandan, ND.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify and develop modifications to optimize the process, improve reliability, improve safety, improve sustainability, or improve environmental performance. Project size may range from small single unit modifications to large capital projects involving multiple refinery process units.
