Position Description:

We are looking for a visionary and experienced Vice President of Product Design to lead our design team and drive the creative vision for our SaaS commercial risk intelligence products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing complex software solutions and a passion for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences. As VP of Design, you will play a critical role in shaping the product's user interface and experience, ensuring that our solutions are not only powerful but also accessible and user-friendly.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of designers, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence. Develop and execute a strategic design vision aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
• Product Design: Oversee the design of our multiple products, ensuring they meet the needs of diverse users across industries. Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create intuitive, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces.
• User Experience: Champion user-centered design principles, conducting user research, usability testing, and feedback analysis to continuously improve the product experience. Ensure the platform is accessible and meets the highest standards of usability.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, marketing, and sales, to align design efforts with business objectives and customer needs.
• Design Systems: Develop and maintain a cohesive design system and guidelines to ensure consistency across all products and touch points. Advocate for best practices in design processes and methodologies.
• Innovation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design innovations to drive continuous improvement and maintain a competitive edge.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in product design, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a B2B enterprise SaaS company.
• Proven track record of designing complex software products, preferably in the areas of risk management, compliance, or data analytics.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UI/UX design and a user-centered design approach.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for creating innovative solutions.

$215,000 - $225,000 a year

The target base salary for this position is $215,000-$225,000 plus 25% bonus. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, candidate experience and expertise, internal peer equity, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
