About the role:

As an Automated Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing automated tests using Cypress with TypeScript for web applications.
• Conducting thorough API testing to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Developing and maintaining robust test frameworks and test suites.
• Collaborating with developers to implement testable code and resolve issues.
• Utilizing Git for version control and collaboration in test code management.
• Working within Agile methodologies to manage and execute testing tasks.
• Independently managing the testing process and ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
• Continuously improving test automation strategies and best practices.

About you:

We are always on the lookout for individuals who value a strong culture just as much as working on great projects. Ideally, you will have:

• Extensive experience with Cypress and TypeScript for automated testing.
• Strong proficiency in API testing methodologies and tools.
• Good understanding of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) frameworks (i.e Cucumber or similar).
• Experience with debugging in a local development environment.
• Familiarity with Git for version control.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• The ability to manage tests independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
• A knack for quickly learning new skills and adapting to new technologies.

Bonus skills:

• Familiarity with Performance/Load Testing tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge of Penetration Testing concepts and practices.
• Experience with mobile app testing automation.
