Project Planning and Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan for the cloud migration, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Define project goals, scope, and deliverables in alignment with organizational objectives and technical requirements.

Technical Expertise:

  • Possess a deep understanding of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Alibaba Cloud) and best practices for migration.
  • Evaluate existing infrastructure, applications, and systems to determine their suitability for migration and identify any necessary modifications or enhancements.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, developers, architects, and other stakeholders throughout the migration process.
  • Foster a collaborative and cohesive working environment, promoting communication, transparency, and knowledge sharing.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, resolving issues and mitigating risks as they arise.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and external vendors.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and milestones effectively, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
  • Manage expectations and address concerns proactively, seeking feedback and input to drive continuous improvement.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

  • Ensure that all aspects of the migration comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organizational policies.
  • Establish and enforce quality assurance processes to verify the integrity, performance, and security of cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation procedures to minimize disruption and ensure a seamless transition to the cloud environment.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Monitor and evaluate project performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and refinement.
  • Implement lessons learned and best practices to enhance future migration projects and organizational capabilities.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and advancements in cloud technology, incorporating relevant innovations into project plans and strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Alibaba Cloud ACP/ACE) preferred.
  • Proven experience managing complex technical projects, particularly cloud migrations, with a track record of successful delivery on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing principles, architectures, and services, along with hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, or Alibaba Cloud.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, as well as a passion for continuous learning and professional development.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin.
