Lead Design Engineer

We are now strengthening our projects team with a Lead Design Engineer. You will be part of a large Projects Organization, where you will work on a variety of projects mostly centered around offshore wind. You will oversee everything from engineering solutions to fulfillment, working closely with our commercial teams to make sure we meet our customers’ expectations.

Key Responsibilities As a Lead Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our projects, ensuring we take the best approach and guiding our design engineers in executing structural solutions for complex offshore projects. You will see your projects come to life in our assembly facility - right through to their final installation. This role is based in Haderslev and reports to our Engineering Team Lead.

Your responsibilities include:

• Own the engineering side of our projects
• Help scope out new projects with Project Managers and clients
• Support Design Engineers in execution
• Review technical drawings, 3D models and engineering reports
• Actively participate in coordination events to improve the constructability and accessibility of structural systems
• Estimate, plan and track the performance of engineering tasks
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including customers
• Keep up with the latest industry trends and building codes to continuously improve our performance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Structural Engineer
• Familiar with structural calculation software as RSTAB
• A data-driven mindset with strong mathematical skills and an eye for detail
• Excellent communication skills and fluent in written and spoken English
• Experience form construction sites and/or offshore building yards is a plus
