The global energy transition is accelerating, and the Øglænd System team is growing. We are seeking a dedicated Business Developer for our Offshore Wind and New Energies segment.

Øglænd System designs and supplies modular bolted containment systems for various industries for LV/MV/HV cables, HVAC and piping. Headquartered in Haderslev, you will be joining the competence center for offshore wind driving the sales development for the segment. Joining Øglænd System, you will also be part of Hilti, providing you with a wide global network of Business Developers in 120 countries.

Øglænd System has a leading position on the market based on a successful life cycle mindset with our customers. As a trusted partner we engage at a very early stage, and you will be the point of contact end-to-end. Together with your team of highly skilled design engineers and project managers, you will ensure that all aspects of the clients’ needs are identified as early as possible. The role reports directly to the Global Segment Manager.

Key Competencies
You will be assigned to a portfolio of key customers rooted in Denmark and with global activities, driving the commercial sales and business development activities within the offshore wind and new energy segment. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Building and nurturing business relations with clients
  • Engage with early business development activities
  • Identify new projects with existing clients and secure scope and specifications
  • Manage and update the pipeline and resource estimates and provide regular commercial updates to management
  • Grow customer network in the new energies segment
  • Develop and negotiate framework agreements
  • Travel activity 20-30 days yearly

Qualifications

  • Technical background rooted in Mechanical Engineering, Technology Management, Marine Engineering or related field
  • 2+ years of commercial sales-related experience
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus
  • Familiarity with offshore structures and pre-assembly concepts is an advantage
  • Ability to work across various departments to support collaborative business outcomes
  • Ability to adjust priorities to multiple demands and to work both independently and as part of a team

We will be looking for a candidate with a dedicated mindset to long-term customer relations.

You must be an excellent communicator capable of extracting and conveying key information between customers and the project and design team. Excellent spoken and written English is a requirement and perhaps you have multi-cultural working experience.
