We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to provide valuable insights that drive informed decision-making and strategic initiatives within the organization. The Data Science Lead will lead a team of Data Science and BI analysts and collaborate closely with various departments to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and relevance. This role requires a strong background in data analytics, proficiency in statistical analysis tools and AI/ML concepts, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the data science and BI team in collecting, organizing, and analyzing large datasets to extract meaningful insights.
• Develop and implement data collection systems and strategies to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Deliver on pricing Annual Operating plan through surfacing insights to improve margins and revenue.
• Build and maintain generative pricing recommendations and insights based on vast datasets and market dynamics using advanced algorithms and machine learning models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and identify data-driven solutions.
• Interpret data trends and patterns to provide actionable recommendations for business improvement.
• Design and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and performance indicators.
• Conduct thorough data quality assessments and implement measures to address any discrepancies or anomalies.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Generative AI and data analytics and apply them to enhance our data capabilities.
• Strong project management skills.
• Mentor and coach team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through presentations, reports, and other channels.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and ethical standards in data handling and analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of proven experience in data science and analysis with a focus on generating actionable insights.
• Entrepreneurial and a start-up mindset.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar languages.
• Experience with Generative AI concepts.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
• Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop a team.
• Knowledge of data governance principles and practices.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
