Job Description:
Job title: Design, Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist for Child Protection Compact Project
Location: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
Contract type: Fixed-term
Deadline: September 20, 2024
Ensures the CPC project aligned with resulting in quality and effectiveness of the project in alignment with WVI and US DoS JTIP guidelines;
- Develop and strengthen project core monitoring and evaluation documents (Results Performance Monitoring Plan, Monitoring and Evaluation Plan, log frame, etc.) by meeting the donor requirements
- Quality review of M&E products (assessment reports, baseline reports, outcome monitoring reports, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual and evaluation reports)
- Prepare other periodic reports required by the donor and the government in both Mongolian and/or English
- Provide inputs, information, and statistics for quarterly, annual, and other reports to the internal and external stakeholders
- Support the development of knowledge products borne out of the implementation of the project. Suggest strategies to Project Management for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the project by identifying bottlenecks in completing project activities and developing plans to minimize or eliminate such bottlenecks
- Participate in project reviews and planning workshops and assist the project director in preparing relevant reports
Provide responsive MEL services to the CPC project and GAM Department
- Conduct training and inductions on M&E framework and IMPAQ system and any other donor required system to project’s implementing organizations
- Prepare and review ToR for baseline and other assessments
- Develop monitoring and impact indicators for the project success
- Develop and implement a knowledge management system, and monitoring, that will take into consideration the reporting needs of the donor of the project and the government
- Collect and provide necessary information as per donor, SO and Regional office including Grant Health Tracker
- Monitor the sustainability of the project’s results
Accountability, learning and feedback
- Develop and implement an accountability framework to ensure transparency and responsiveness to internal and external stakeholders
- Establish and manage feedback mechanisms such as suggestion boxes, hotlines and community meetings to gather input from beneficiaries and stakeholders
- Ensure timely and appropriate responses to feedback and complaints, documenting actions taken and outcomes
- Promote transparency by sharing project information, progress and results with beneficiaries and stakeholders when necessary
- Train project staff and partners on donor accountability principles and feedback management processes
- Use feedback data to inform learning and adaptation processes, ensuring that programs are responsive to the needs and preferences of beneficiaries.
