Technical Accounting Analyst

Context and Environment

With the Global Accounting team, you will be part of the Technical Accounting & Accounting Policies team. This position can be based in Lyon or Toulouse in France; Hamburg in Germany, Abingdon in the United Kingdom and Verona in Italy.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in an IFRS context (Big four or Listed Company)
• Ability to interact with various stakeholders, breakdown complex accounting issues, explain and present them to management
• Experience of working in an international environment, ideally in Pharma/ Biotech
• Experience with PCAOB Audits and SOx
• Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills, German, Italian or another European language is a plus.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Analysis of technical and complex accounting topics, complex transactions, and contracts
• Answer technical accounting question to various stakeholders
• Monitoring of accounting and reporting updates and implementation of new standards and regulations
• Preparation and update of the Group’s Accounting Policies
• Monitoring and enforcement of the Policies within the Group
• Preparation of internal training materials
• Participation in the external reporting process and ensuring compliance with the regulator’s guidelines
