Position Title: Application Developer

We are looking for an experienced Application Developer to contribute to the modernization of key public sector systems, such as estimation processes, administrative records modules, sampling, and quality metrics. This position involves preparing applications for cloud migration to AWS, contributing to critical public sector projects, and is fully remote.

• The project supports the Census, and the candidate will undergo a Public Trust clearance process, which takes about 4 weeks. The candidate cannot start until the clearance is completed, so this is not suitable for those seeking immediate employment.
• Prior Census experience can expedite the clearance process.
• Required Technologies: Python, PL/SQL, AWS
• Familiarity with C# is needed as the role involves migrating a legacy system developed in C#.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is required.
• Python: 4+ years of experience in Python development, with a strong understanding of software design best practices.
• C#: 4+ years of experience in C# development, focusing on scalable and robust applications.
• PL/SQL: 4+ years of experience in PL/SQL, with a focus on database management and optimization.
• AWS Technologies & Migration: At least 2 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud architecture and migration strategies.
• Software Architecture & Documentation: Expertise in software architecture, development, and producing technical documentation.
