PURPOSE

  • Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
  • Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
  • Improve systems by studying current practices, designing modifications
  • Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
  • Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic and business planning within the various departments and programs of the client group
  • Interpret, evaluate and interrelate research data and develop integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports
  • Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues

KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES

  • Take the double roles as delivery manager / lead business analyst for IRIS apps to ensure the delivery on IRIS with good quality within agreed effort and timeline.
  • As BA leader to coach junior BA on related BA work and share the best practice on work to follow.
  • Accountable for planning and resources allocation on projects assigned and ensure any risks and issues in projects are well managed and communicated to steering committees / stakeholders to keep project status on track with planned budget and timeline.
  • Conduct analysis and feasibility studies to determine the viable solution to achieve the business objectives.
  • As Team leader to manage the team’s work progress and play the active role to manage and resolve any conflicts among teams to confirm the consensus. Ensure the delivered business solution can generate the favorable outcome adhering to the agreed KPIs.
  • As Change agent to challenge the status quo on existing or proposed target operating model and provide recommendation on the proposed solution to improve the current target operation model to resolve the pain points for agency operation.
  • Develop business cases to demonstrate the value of the proposed changes to achieve the business and operation objectives.
  • To identify system needs by working with stakeholders, and writes the specifications and other documents for the system requirements identified
  • To define the objectives and format, and control the change requests; and to consolidate and prioritize system changes
  • To develop business procedures and to define, gather and set parameters into system
  • To conduct testing to ensure system can operate accurately, effectively, efficiently and according to requirement specification
  • To study and recommend technologies and methodologies in order to support the business objectives of that function
  • To facilitate the discussion of requirement elicitation in complex program/project in complex organization to get consensus on the solution that maximize the benefit to achieve business goal.
  • Maintain good communication and co-ordination with team members and users
  • Strong in Apps and API design and able to articulate the required work and as leader to guide the team to complete and deliver as planned.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • At least 6 years of project management / business analysis experience.

KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Working experience with code quality and best practices tool
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline is a plus
  • Experience integrating with RESTful APIs
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
  • Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility
  • Experience in rapid prototyping
  • Familiar with CSS is a plus
  • Familiar with web socket is a plus
  • Good sense of the UX & UI design is a plus
  • Experience in front-end testing tools and testing frameworks is a plus
  • Experience in agile development methodologies is a plus
  • Good teamwork, communication skill, & problem-solving skill
  • Self-motivated & independent
  • Good command in both written & spoken English or Cantonese (Mandarin)
