Technical Business Analyst

We’re looking for a Technical Business Analyst based in Glasgow. The role sits within the Integration Product Group and will support Aggreko's integration layer and related in-house products. The Technical Business Analyst role involves business process design, stakeholder management, and technical requirements gathering using Agile methodologies.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate within an Agile team, supporting the development and integration of .NET applications and REST APIs on the Azure platform.
• Provide expertise in integration, ensuring seamless connectivity across 24 different products.
• Leverage strong business analysis skills to gather requirements, write user stories, assess performance, and manage risks.
• Work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into technical specifications.
• Engage with the broader Business Analyst community within Aggreko, contributing to cross-functional projects and initiatives.
• Support the ongoing improvement and innovation of our products by participating in a team that values experimentation and cutting-edge technology.

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

• Experience working within an Agile development environment, with a solid understanding of .NET technologies, REST APIs, and Azure—coding experience is not required, but a strong technical understanding is essential.
• Proven business analysis skills, including requirement gathering, user story creation, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a technical team, breaking down complex problems and delivering effective solutions.
• Experience dealing with a wide range of stakeholders, balancing technical and business needs.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with an interest in learning new technologies and contributing to innovative solutions.
