Your Team, Your Impact

As a hardware and silicon validation senior staff engineer at Marvell, you’ll be helping to deliver high bandwidth over long distances. This team performs analog validations on amplifiers that drive optical electronic devices and receivers. We also validate silicon photonics, do upper electronic measurements and support the coherent digital signal programming unit. This is a niche area at Marvell, working with cutting edge technologies used by many internal and external customers around the world.

What You Can Expect

• Develop Python based tools and automation framework.
• Windows application development using C# and .NET technologies to design and develop software tools for various storage products, including HDD, SSD, Preamp and PHY.
• Possible work on different SW/FW level, including embedded FW and device drivers.
• Ability to work with lab equipment like Oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.
• Closely work with hardware, firmware and FPGA teams to provide complete solution to validate various storage IPs. Support internal SOC, AE and FAE teams on chip bring up, testing and validation.
• Support, maintain and expand the current software infrastructure to integrate new features for new products.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 8-10 years of related professional experience.
• Master’s degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 3-5 years of experience.
• Experience in Python for development, debugging and testing.
• Experience in developing multi-threaded application.
• Ability to work on different programming languages like C++, C# & .NET framework.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming, OS internals, data structures & algorithms, software architectures & design principles.
• Good problem-solving skills. Be flexible to work on multiple projects and support multiple teams.
