DevOps Engineer, ONESOURCE platform– Corporates

Looking for challenging Lead DevOps Engineer roles to solve some of the most complex software problems that impacts biggest businesses in the world?

ONESOURCE platform unit of Corporates, Thomson Reuters is looking for DevOps Engineer to join at their Hyderabad office.

DevOps Engineer work across the end-to-end software development life cycle and apply modern software development practices when defining, designing, building, testing and delivering database services to users. DevOps Engineers effectively collaborate with cross functional teams including senior stakeholders to deliver on projects. You will utilize your deep technical expertise and skillset by representing software development engineering in overall project management by specifying and driving progress towards development activities, milestones, and timelines. This role independently builds DevOps solutions, solves highly complex problems and displays innovation when delivering projects and/or product(s).

About the Role:

In this opportunity as DevOps Engineer, you will:

  • Implement efficient DevOps processes and pipelines for software development and infrastructure deployment, leveraging IaC principles.
  • Automate tasks related to software development and infrastructure management using CI/CD tools and IaC to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Collaborate with developers, system operators, and other IT staff to plan and execute code releases and infrastructure deployments.
  • Identify and implement tools and technologies to drive automation and optimization of DevOps processes, with a specific focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to identify and resolve issues proactively.
  • Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest DevOps trends and technologies, including advancements in IaC tools like CDK.

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-4 years of experience in DevOps engineering.
  • 2 years of Experience with AWS
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience mentoring and leading teams.
