The Senior Payroll Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting the payroll team by ensuring appropriate system functionality and integrations to perform accurate calculations, processing, and reporting. We are looking for someone who is at the center of the system and understands the integrations to and from our payroll system. This candidate will develop technical business requirement documents, troubleshoot integrations, and test solutions. ADP experience is required.

This position requires collaborating with internal and external partners, collecting requirements, solutioning & resolving defects, recommending & implementing enhancements, and performing user acceptance testing. Lead and/or support projects, integrations, benefits initiatives, system upgrades and year-end.

This role will also support a new payroll system implementation project, will be responsible for collecting and creating business requirements, interpret and manage changes, perform testing and system audits.

The Senior Payroll Business Analyst requires expertise in payroll and timekeeping systems, as well as basic knowledge of payroll, benefits, time and labor, payroll tax and auditing functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Research system issues for payroll as the first point of escalation.
  • Lead research and testing for payroll configurations and changes, enhancements, and special projects, including implementing audits and controls.
  • Support tax reporting, year-end, W-2 processing and multi-state reporting.
  • Work closely with implementation team to integrate new Payroll System for US payroll.
  • Collaborate with Payroll team in change management activities including making recommendations, and system training relative to system modifications and/or enhancements.
  • Create and update documentation for payroll system related processes and procedures.
  • Lead various projects for process improvement or new endeavors which may include outside vendors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business or Human Resources or equivalent experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR Technology, Payroll or Time & Labor systems role
  • Experience with payroll system implementation is a plus.
  • CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) is a plus.
