Managing Director/Technical Director

Our client is a cutting-edge digital marketing agency, servicing a range of industries including weight loss, health and wellness, CBD/cannabis, window replacement, roofing, security, and staffing. As they continue to expand into new sectors like Med Spa and plant medicine, they’re seeking a dynamic Managing Director/Technical Director to steer client success, lead the team, and drive innovative lead generation strategies.

Requirements

You’ll play a pivotal leadership role, overseeing all aspects of digital marketing including SEO, PPC, and social PPC while managing a small team. You’ll work directly with clients to ensure exceptional service delivery, manage multiple projects, and help scale the agency’s growth by driving both innovation and results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Management: Lead client onboarding, manage client relationships, and ensure project success from inception to completion.
• SEO Management: Oversee all SEO operations, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and backlink management, while leading a remote team.
• PPC & Ad Management: Run and optimize PPC campaigns on platforms like Google Ads and AdRoll.
• Team Leadership: Manage an internal team of content writers, designers, and technical experts, coordinating tasks via ClickUp.
• Lead Generation: Develop strategies for high-quality lead generation for the agency and its clients.
• Reporting & Analytics: Track campaign performance, providing clients with detailed reports using tools like Agency Analytics, SEMRush, and Slack.

About You:
We’re looking for a digital marketing leader with hands-on experience and proven success in SEO, PPC, and lead generation. You should be comfortable managing a team and be passionate about driving innovation and growth.

Qualifications:

• Strong background in SEO, PPC (Google Ads, social PPC), and digital marketing management.
• Expertise in tools like SEMRush, Google Ads, AdRoll, ClickUp, and Slack.
• Experience in regulated industries (health, wellness, CBD/cannabis) is highly valued.
• Proven ability to manage remote teams and build strong client relationships.
• Results-driven with a focus on scaling accounts and client success.
